Music Producer Suge Knight Arrested For Assault (Video)

Rap record mogul Suge Knight was arrested by the LAPD and was booked for an alleged assault with a deadly weapon.

Police did not provide any other details about the assault or victim.

Knight's white Cadillac Escalade was stopped by police on the 14700 block of Crenshaw Boulevard at 12:30 a.m. Thursday. He was detained and questioned for several hours at the LAPD Southwest Station.

Knight has been booked on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon and is being held at Men's Central Jail. He is also being charged with a misdemeanor driving with a suspended license.

Knight has had a number of run-ins with the law. He was recently accused of roughing up a rapper known as Yukmouth and stealing about $92,000 worth of jewelry. The rapper later recanted his story.
