It's looking like Lil Wayne fans won't have the new album from Weezy to ride home on Thanksgiving to. Lil Wayne's next album titled "Rebirth", was rumored to have been packaged together with the release of the Young Money AllStars - well... that's not the case anymore. The album has been pushed back to be released just before Christmas on Dec. 22.
"Rebirth” is the follow-up album to his platinum selling album of '08, “Tha Carter 3,”. Instead of both albums coming out together, sources at Universal Records have confirmed the albums will in fact hit all stores separately.
The Young Money click consists of Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Mack Maine, Gudda Gudda, Tyga, Jae Millz, Shanell, Lil Chuckee, and Lil Twist. The new new album "We Are Young Money", will feature guest appearances by Gucci Mane, Lloyd, Pleasure P and Baby.
Lil Wayne’s “Rebirth” album will have appearances from Fall Out Boy and even Lenny Kravitz. Both albums from Cash Money and Young Money will have tough competition as they hit stores on the same day as Eminem’s upcoming re-release “Relapse: Refill” on December 21st.
Cash Money CEO, Baby, went to twitter last night saying this:
*ATTN RT TO ALL LIL WAYNE REBIRTH AND THE YM ALLSTARS ALBUM HAS BEEN PUSHED BACK TO DEC. 22... CMB/YM
Not big on the details huh Baby?
