Breaking New Reports: 12 Shot At Fort Hood

Twelve soldiers are said to have been shot at Fort Hood in central Texas Thursday afternoon. 

The Army post says it is in lockdown and is urging everyone on post to remain indoors.

Army officials have confirmed a "violent incident" at the post, but have not released any other details about the incident.

There are reports that several ambulances and police units are headed to a location at the center of the huge Army post.
