Man charged with sexually assaulting 6-year-old girl, $15,000 secured bond

(WBTV) - Sheriff's deputies have arrested and charged an Albemarle man who is accused of taking indecent liberties with a child.

The Stanly County Sheriff's Office was informed about the allegations on July 25th and immediately started investigating 28-year-old Benjamin Ross Glenn, of 28486-B Millingport Road.

The sheriff's office says the alleged incidents happened between July 5th and July 21st of 2010.

The victim is a 6-year-old girl who the sheriff's office says is an acquaintance of Glenn.

He was arrested on August 12th and charged with three counts of indecent liberties with a child.

Glenn is being held on a $15,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to have a first appearance in Stanly County Court on September 13th
