Yesterday, at a Spotify event to announce the music software companies latest advent, music mogul Quincy Jones took a slight jab at Mr. Take That Take That, Diddy, saying Diddy, ""couldn't recognize a B-flat if it hit him."

Of course Jones is one of the greatest music producers of all time, with legendary artists such as Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra, Donna Summer and Michael Jackson all under his belt, he surely is someone who can talk the talk and walk the walk.

Maryland governor signs same-sex marriage bill

Maryland became the eighth U.S. state to allow same-sex marriage Thursday as Gov. Martin O'Malley signed legislation he said secures the "human dignity" of all residents, including gay and lesbian couples. A standing-room crowd in the Maryland State House cheered O'Malley as he emerged from his office to sign the legislation, flanked by state Senate President Mike Miller and House Speaker Michael Busch. "The way forward is always found through greater respect for the equal rights of all," the governor said.

An Oregon teenager shocked a crowd at a coffee shop last week when he stabbed himself to death on stage after singing at an open mic night. Kipp Rusty Walker, 19, took the stage at Strictly Organic Coffee in the town of Bend, Or. on Thursday to perform a song he called "Sorry for the Mess."
