Holyfield sues attorney over foreclosure

Former boxing champ Evander Holyfield has filed a lawsuit in Texas saying a lawyer who loaned him $560,000 foreclosed on his house seven days before the debt was due. According to the Courthouse News Service, Holyfield also complained in the lawsuit filed in Houston that attorney Jeffrey Stern bought the property for himself after foreclosing.

LPGA player Erica Blasberg, 25, found dead

Police and an agent for 25-year-old Erica Blasberg say the LPGA Tour golfer has died. Henderson, Nev., police spokesman Keith Paul said Monday that authorities were investigating Blasberg's Sunday death. It was not immediately clear whether foul play was involved. Blasberg's agent, Chase Callahan, confirmed her death but declined to provide details because of the investigation.

Ex-NFL Player Nick Rogers Dies in Single-Car Accident

(AP) -- Former NFL player and Georgia Tech star Nick Rogers has died in a one-car accident. He was 30. The Fulton County Medical Examiner's office says Rogers was killed about 1:30 a.m. Monday when his car hit a utility pole in College Park, near Atlanta. Rogers, a 250-pound linebacker, spent four years in the NFL with Minnesota, Green Bay, Indianapolis and Miami.
