Skype's group video calling beta now available for Windows

This beta version comes with a free trial of group video calling. Video call up to four of your friends – all at the same time. Everyone on the call will be able to see and hear each other.

Note: group video calling currently works with Skype 5.0 Beta for Windows only. Everyone on the call needs this version of Skype, otherwise the group video call won't work.

 

RIAA wins big in LimeWire lawsuit

In a decision that could mean sweeping changes to file sharing in the United States, a federal court has found the company that operates file-sharing service LimeWire liable for copyright infringement, according to court records reviewed by CNET

Google Password System Attacked

When Google (GOOG) announced in January that it was the victim of a cyber-attack, the company didn't reveal the extent of the damage. Now it appears that Google's password system, which protects email accounts and business applications, was compromised in the attack, according to reports in The New York Times and elsewhere.
