Charlie Villanueva Charged With Domestic Assault

The Toronto Star is reporting that Detroit Pistons forward Charlie Villanueva faces a charge of domestic assault after a May 19 incident in Burlington, Ontario. The newspaper reported that the 25-year-old Villanueva was released by Halton Regional Police on a promise to appear in court on July 9. The name of complainant and other details about the incident weren't available Tuesday.

Pistons guard collapses at game

The Pistons/Cavs game interrupted Friday night. Pistons guard, Rodney Stuckey taken out of the Q on a stretcher. Witnesses say he collapsed while on the Pistons bench. The game resumed after about ten minutes. We have learned Stuckey was taken to the Cleveland Clinic for observation. He is breathing on his own.

Ron Artest Drank Hennessy During NBA Games

Black Voice Reports: NBA star Ron Artest must get bored easily. When things seemed to be settling down from his trade to the Los Angeles Lakers during this off-season, the controversial St. John's University graduate couldn't help but shake things up. Artest told a reporter that he drank during the halftimes of NBA games, when he played for the Chicago Bulls from 1999–2002. His beverage of choice: Hennessy cognac. "I used to drink Hennessy at halftime," Artest told the Sporting News. "I (kept it) in my locker. I'd just walk to the liquor store and get it."
