Ex-wife says Lorenzen Wright left with drugs the night he died

(WMC-TV) - Documents reveal new details about what may have happened the night former NBA star Lorenzen Wright disappeared.

According to a search warrant, dated August 1, 2010, Wrights ex-wife, Sherra, told Collierville Police that Lorenzen left her house the night he disappeared carrying a box of drugs and a sum of money.

(AP) - An attorney says three armed men looking for Lorenzen Wright showed up at the home of the former NBA player's ex-wife about six weeks before he was found shot to death. Lawyer Gail Mathes says her client, Sherra Wright, was afraid for herself and her children so kept quiet about the encounter until Monday. She then alerted police in the Memphis suburb of Collierville.
