Jay-Z Teams With Nike For "All Black Everythings"

Earlier this week, Jay brought the house down as he performed at the opening show for Nike's World Basketball Festival at New Yorks Radio CIty Music Hall. Now, H.O.V. is taking things a step further in the name of charity; the ten time Grammy Award winner has teamed up with Nike and created a limited edition sneaker titled, "All Black Everythings".
There are only five pairs of the sneaker created, and Jay-Z is the only person, other than Nike, with a pair of each one. The five pairs of sneaks will each represent one of the five different countries playing in the World Basketball Festival. Those countries include the USA, France, China, Puerto Rico, and Brazil teams.
The sneakers were created by Nike in order to be donated and auctioned off to benefit Jay-Z's nonprofit, The Shawn Carter Foundation.
"We're excited to bring together the international prestige of Jay-Z and the USA Team on stage at famed Radio City Music Hall to open the first World Basketball Festival. This will be a historic night," said Trevor Edwards, Nike VP Global Brand and Category Management. "We're also honored to collaborate with Jay-Z on limited edition Air Force 1's that celebrate the countries participating in this inaugural event."
The festival takes place from August 12th - 22nd.
For those of you out there that are not only die hard Jay-Z fans, but also big fans of the Air Force One sneaker, you can click here. The bidding process started at 9:00 AM ET. So far, the highest bid is for the USA sneak at $2,222.00 U.S. dollars. Get it crackin folks!
