Justin Bieber Will Not Face Charges Over Photographer Collision – Report

Police officers reportedly have no plans to charge after a photographer was injured in a collision with his car last month.

The Sorry singer, 23, was leaving a church event at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills, California when his monster truck was swarmed by paparazzi. As he pulled away he appeared to hit a male photographer with his front right tire. Justin waited with the injured party until police officers and medics arrived.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ.com the pop star will not face charges over the incident as they believe he had no intent to strike the snapper, who was allegedly in the wrong as he was standing in the street.

After the collision, the photographer was treated in hospital for a leg injury.

The incident is not the first time a photographer has fallen foul of Justin Bieber. Last year he settled a legal dispute with photographer Jose Osmin Hernandez Duran, after allegedly clashing outside a shopping mall in Southern California in 2012.

He also reached a settlement deal with cameraman Walter Lee in December 2015, who claimed he was left with serious injuries after he was struck by the singer’s Ferrari in Los Angeles in 2013.

The latest incident came just days after Justin Bieber announced he was canceling the remainder of his world tour, scrapping 14 gigs.
Some of his pop contemporaries have criticized him for his decision to cancel the concerts, including One Direction star Louis Tomlinson and DJ Jonas Blue.

Despite acknowledging the pressure of touring can take its toll Jonas told Britain’s Daily Star, “However, I also think you have a responsibility to your fans as they put you up there in the first place. He’s young but he will be back.”
