North America’s “League of Legends” Championship Roster Is Here

LONDON, United Kingdom – Riot Games, the League of Legends online video game developer, has established new regulations to get ready for the game’s American pro league. Starting in the 2018 season, the North American League of Legends Championship Series (NA LCS) will consist often permanent teams to battle.

Riot Games has announced the championship roster that made the cut for the 2018 season. The ten teams are Team SoloMid, Cloud9, Clutch Gaming, OpTic Gaming, Echo Fox, Golden Guardians, 100 Thieves, FlyQuest, Team Liquid, and Counter Logic Gaming.

Most of the teams are from 2017’s summer NA LCS, yet some noticed that the second place winner, Immortals, is not making a comeback for the 2018 NA LCS season.

More to this, Riot Games expressed that all prospected teams belonging to the final roster were sought and assessed by their team strategy, staffing prowess, brand and business plan competence, and legacy experience.

The above criteria have played a major role for the company to decide who deserves to be in the spot to receive a minimum player salary of $25,000 to $75,000. The league’s revenue is also subject to sharing to its athletes, thus aiming to sustain the players’ careers throughout the season.

Riot Games is looking at the teams consistently to positively affect the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS). In 2018 season, both the players and the coaches shall relish more stability. Investors are looking at funding teams without having to worry about poor performance and eventually expelling them from the league.
