Impressive Performance
While this Pocket device has an Intel Atom processor which is not that impressive at first glance, it is worth noting that the Z8750 it is equipped with is a quad core. It is a 64-bit CPU that belongs to the Cherry Trail family which already proved to be impressively capable.
The amount of memory and storage also helps the GPD Pocket mini PC’s performance. More than that, it also boasts the balance between capability and efficiency especially with its 12 hours of battery life.
The display of the GPD Pocket is also one of the device’s highlights with its 16:10 aspect ratio. The 7-inch screen is packed with around 323 pixels per inch with a responsive multi-touch feature. Overall, the screen is impressively sharp.
Responsive Keys
Since this device has an unconventional size for a PC, it is notable that it has limited space for the keyboard. The dimensions of some of the keys are a little unusual, and using the device might take some getting used to.
However, the keyboard size and design aside, the GPD mini computer surely packs some responsive keys. Even for some long hours of nonstop typing, it is still as efficient as the first time you use it. The keys are also great in feel, even more than when using MacBook.

The GPD Pocket has made quite some compromise especially to the size of the PC, but it has done very well in all other areas. It boasts a full PC user experience, but on a rather portable device that you can put in your jacket pocket.
