LOS ANGELES, California – Stuart Weitzman started off 2018 with a bang by inducting Gigi Hadid and Kate Moss as the models of his new ad campaign.
For those who do not know who Stuart Weitzman is, he is a world-renowned shoe designer and the owner of the self-titled company.
Most of his shoe designs are made of unique and expensive materials, such as gold, platinum, lucite, vinyl, and wallpaper. Thus, people called his creations as “million dollar” shoes.
Stuart Weitzman designed footwear for many celebrities like Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and Laura Harring.
Today, Weitzman has teamed up with Gigi Hadid and Kate Moss to promote his latest spring/summer shoe collection for 2018.
It is quite obvious why he chose both ladies as his new endorsers of his brand. But besides their gorgeous faces, Gigi Hadid and Kate Moss have broken the generation gap since both models have become famous in different decades.
Gigi Hadid has been one of the top models of this generation for the past five years. In addition to being close to the reality star and model Kendall Jenner, Gigi comes from a relatively well-known family and is active in social media.
Hadid also released and designed The Gigi Mules, launched in November 2017. According to the supermodel, she created these shoes to express her adoration for Stuart Weitzman’s slides.
Furthermore, Gigi created this look in support of Pencils of Promise. It is a charitable institution that provides elementary education programs in rising regions like Ghana, Laos, and Guatemala.
The said shoe collection aims to earn $105,000 to be used for building elementary schools in the mentioned countries.
However, this was not the only time when Gigi Hadid and Stuart Weitzman worked together. Gigi modeled for Weitzman several times since 2015, which started their strong working relationship until today.
Meanwhile, Kate Moss has been modeling since the 1980s. She rose to fame because of her incredibly thin, boyish physique.
She worked with several famous fashion photographers and endorsed many clothing brands. One of these names is Stuart Weitzman.
Like Gigi, Kate has endorsed Stuart Weitzman many times. That is why she is familiar with Weitzman’s designs.
Moss was the model of “Made for Walking” campaign in 2013 and the spring collection ad in 2014 where she wore a black one-piece swimsuit and had a laid back vibe. She was also the face of the company until mid2014.
The latest campaign pictures for Weitzman’s brand are in black and white, which gives the images a chic look. They also wear black-and-white outfits to match the scheme and the color of their footwear.
As for the shoes, both models wear flat espadrilles, crystal-accented mules, satin sneakers, and the brand’s famous shoe style – boots.
Weitzman’s boot collection includes Western-inspired, pointy-toe, riding, low-heel, and slouched-ankle boots. This wide range of designs allows his supporters to choose a pair of boots that suits their styles and tastes.
