Vivo Apex 2019- The Android Phone With Extraordinary Specs
The Vivo Apex 2019 was unveiled on 24th January in China. Its global launch is scheduled for February 27, one of the popular events at the Mobile World Congress 2019, Barcelona. This is Vivo’s first 5G smartphone and loaded with some exciting features. Here is a quick review of the specs that Vivo is offering in Apex 2019.
Look and Display
The Apex 2019 has slim bezels, curved glass body and a large screen of 6.39-inch AMOLED display. There is no headphone jack or USB ports on the phone instead uses a rear mounted magnetic connector which the company calls – Magport to charge the phone and transfer data. It has an aspect ratio of 16:9 and the screen pixels are 2340 x 1080 pixels. Apex 2019 has included full display fingerprint sensor technology, so the entire screen works as a fingerprint scanner to unlock your phone.
Camera
The smartphone features two cameras that are placed in the middle of the back panel. There are a primary sensor and a secondary sensor of 12 MP and 13 MP respectively along with a LED flash. Some features included in the camera are face detection, digital zoom, touch to focus and auto flash. The image resolution that the camera offers is 4000 x 3000 pixels. There is no selfie camera in the phone because Vivo seems to have concentrated on other modifications on the phone to give it a sophisticated look.
Performance
The smartphone has been powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 that is paired with 256/512 GB of internal storage. Since it is already offering a huge storage space, you don’t have an option to expand the memory with an external storage device.
Battery
Apex 2019 needs massive power to run a phone that is loaded with so many latest features which is why Vivo has given it an irreplaceable battery with a capacity of 4100 mAh. You get the facility of fast charging so expect your phone to charge 100% in just about an hour.
Audio
One of the notable features of the Apex 2019 is its audio. It comes with the company’s body casting technology. This enables the display to work as speakers for a seamless experience. This feature is in sync with Vivo’s concept of not having any ports, jacks, holes or buttons giving it a beautiful look. There is however a very small opening just below the phone which is for the microphone.
Others
The Vivo Apex 2019 features the Android 9.0 operating system and supports dual SIM(GSM + GSM). The phone is waterproof this is basically because there are no openings on the phone.
Color – For now the phone will be made available in three colors – White, Grey and Black.
Network – It supports 2G, 3G and 4G networks
